Origin
Born in Italy. Arrived in Los Angeles by way of the world.
A communications degree from Milan. An MBA with campuses in Taipei, Barcelona and San Francisco. Before real estate I built a sales team from scratch at a green-energy startup in Verona, then spent years helping early-stage tech companies find their footing in Silicon Valley — sitting across the table from investors and founders on three continents, in English, Italian, and the universal language of trust.
I arrived in Los Angeles in 2018 and went through the whole sequence every newcomer goes through: the first lease with no American credit history, the bank that wanted a utility bill I didn't have yet, the neighborhoods that looked identical on a map and were nothing alike in person. Nobody handed me the manual. That experience became the practice.
Real estate wasn't a pivot; it was where everything converged — relationships, capital, lifestyle, and the discretion that high-stakes decisions require. Los Angeles has one of the most international buyer pools in the country, and I understand those clients not just professionally but culturally.
How I work
Three rules.
Everything in plain language, in the language you think in. Contracts, deadlines, contingencies, deposits — I explain the American system the way I wish someone had explained it to me.
I represent buyers and tenants across Los Angeles County, not one zip code. The right home for a family arriving from Rome might be in Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Studio City or Pasadena. My job is to know the difference.
No hype, no invented numbers. What I tell you about a property, a landlord, a school district or a price is something I have checked. If I don't know, I say so and I find out.
Why relocation
A move is not a transaction. It's a hundred small decisions.
Most agents will show you houses. Fewer will tell you that a rental application in LA is won or lost on paperwork, that a U.S. buyer's agent is usually paid from the sale rather than by the buyer, or that the school you read about online has a waiting list two years long.
SZHaus is my practice for people making that move from Italy: the purchase or the lease, yes, but also the sequence around it — banks, schools, neighborhoods, the Italian community already here. I built it because I needed it in 2018 and it didn't exist.
The Team
Tomer Fridman Group
The Beverly Hills Estates
In August 2026 I joined Tomer Fridman's team at The Beverly Hills Estates, one of the leading luxury brokerages in Los Angeles. The team moved with a portfolio of roughly $1.6 billion in listings — which means that when I represent you, you have that network, that inventory, and that negotiating table behind you.

For a client relocating from Italy this matters in a practical way: access to off-market inventory, relationships with the listing agents who control the best homes and rentals, and a brokerage name that landlords and sellers recognize instantly.

The things that inform the work
I'm a film producer, an art magazine co-founder, and a devoted AC Milan supporter. I live in West Hollywood with my wife Tea and our dog Winkle. I still think the best table in a restaurant tells you more about a neighborhood than any market report.
The Italian obsession with craft and detail — in architecture, in design, in food — travels everywhere with me. It's the lens through which I evaluate properties and the standard I hold myself to with clients.
